From Sallie: When I was 16, my granddaddy died and left his shop and tools to me.  I had no plans for them, but knew that I wanted to attend art school.  I attended VCU where I earned a BFA in Crafts and Material Studies and concentrated in furniture design and woodworking. I graduated and went to work for a traditional furniture genius in Richmond. After a few years of constructing someone else's ideas, I knew I wanted a life where I could design, build, and craft my own work, all while being in a direct relationship with EACH customer. So, I created Sallie Plumley Studio. Now, I design and build timeless, custom pieces that celebrate your design dreams through the highest quality of craftsmanship, all so that YOU can facilitate spaces of fellowship.

Sallie crafts custom, hardwood fine furniture, and wooden objects. She does not offer refurbishing or repair services.
